Cookie Policy

Cookies are small data files that are stored on the user’s device when they visit a website, and which enable the website, amongst other things, to store and retrieve information about the user’s or their device’s browsing habits. Their use is regulated by Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI).

a) Technical or necessary cookies

These are strictly necessary for the website to function and therefore do not require prior consent in accordance with Article 22.2 of the LSSI.

• Consent management cookie (records the user’s choice in the cookie panel).
• Language cookie (remembers the browsing language selected by the user).

b) Analytical cookies

These enable us to quantify the number of users and analyse their browsing behaviour statistically. They require the user’s prior consent.

• Google Analytics cookies (the ‘Statistics’ category in the consent panel), pending identification by name (expected to be _ga, _gid and equivalents) via the recommended technical scan.

c) Experience and marketing cookies

The consent panel currently in place also distinguishes between the categories ‘Experience’ (additional browsing features) and ‘Marketing’ (personalisation of content and offers). Both require the user’s prior consent. The list of specific cookies included in each category, and of the third-party providers involved, is yet to be finalised via the recommended technical scan.

Technical cookies are installed without the need for consent, as they are strictly necessary for the provision of the service (Article 22.2 of the LSSI). All other cookies will only be installed after obtaining the user’s free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent (Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR), expressed through a clear affirmative action via the cookie settings panel.

On the first layer of the cookie banner, the user must be presented with three options displayed with the same level of visibility: to accept all cookies, to reject non-essential cookies and to configure their preferences by category, in accordance with the criteria set out in the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s Guide on the Use of Cookies (July 2023 version). Continuing to browse without interacting with the banner shall not, under any circumstances, be deemed to constitute acceptance of the use of non-exempt cookies.

Some of the third-party cookies mentioned (Google, Meta) involve the transfer of data to servers located outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. These transfers are carried out under the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, currently through these providers’ adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, alternatively, through standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Users can find further information on these safeguards in each provider’s privacy policy.

You can change your consent preferences at any time via the cookie settings panel, accessible via the ‘Cookie Settings’ link at the bottom of the website, just as easily as you accepted them.
